SvgPublish 1.7 released

Important: You must deploy the support files once after upgrading to version 1.7

What is New in SVG Publish 1.7

Enhanced SharePoint Integration

Publishing to SharePoint is now more streamlined:

  • Web Part Compatibility: Your SVG exports are now compatible with the modern SharePoint web part for SVG Publish
  • Works with Custom Scripts Disabled: The web part now functions properly even when SharePoint has custom scripts disabled
  • Reduced Permissions: You do not need "Design" or "Owner" permissions anymore to publish SVG files for a web part. Simple "Edit" permission is enough (default for site members).
  • Legacy Support: Works with both modern SharePoint sites and classic SharePoint pages
  • Smart URL Recognition: Just paste any SharePoint library URL and SVG Publish automatically figures out the site and library details

  • This makes it easy to follow process flows and understand relationships in complex diagrams

You can customize the highlight colors in the Options dialog under Selection View settings.

Configuration Backup and Sharing

You can now save and share your SVG Publish settings:

  • Export Settings: Save all your configuration options to a JSON file
